How to create a website from your Instagram profile
Paste the link to your public Instagram profile on the wipe homepage. It reads your bio, your posts and your pictures, and builds a website out of them. This takes about two minutes, and it works whether or not you have ever had a website.
How to do it
- Copy your profile address — instagram.com/your-handle. Not a link to a single post, and not a link copied inside the app
- Paste it into the field on the homepage and continue
- Create an account — a site needs an owner, an address and an inbox
- Wait while it reads. You can close the window; the build carries on
- Your site opens for review, with your own pictures on it. It stays private until you publish
If it didn't work
My profile is private
A private profile cannot be read — not by us and not by anyone else. Make it public for the moment of the build, or paste a different source.
My pictures did not appear
An Instagram profile photo is too small to open a website with, and some posts arrive without an image. If the profile has enough pictures the site opens on one of them; if it does not, it is built on typography, and that is not a worse website.
I have a business account, not a personal one
It makes no difference. Both are public and both are read the same way.
I pasted a link to a reel and it was refused
It needs the address of the profile itself, not of one item inside it.
